GLH3 Hashmas – 1/4/25
It was a beautiful sunny day in January. Cold – yes, but it could have so much colder.
There was a gathering of hale and hearty hashers in downtown Canton. Wait…does Canton have a downtown? I’ll try again.
There was a gathering of hale and hearty hashers in the vaguely defined suburban area called “Canton”.
This was hash #1061, or there abouts of the Great Lakes H3. Or, as we like to call them, “Lansing”
There were Lansing hashers, Motown and Ann Arbor hashers, even a couple of visitors who wanted to hash and showed up for this.
Backseat Muffher and Up Up-Down Down set a fine looping trail through the nearby streets and open areas. There was even an air conditioned (i.e., warm) beer check.
After trail, circle was convened in the basement, presided over by Fast Food, and down-downs came like a winter flurry!
After circle, we dug into a veritable feast prepared by Screws on The Bus in her fancy new kitchen. Good eats all around.
A big thank you to GLH3 for having a hash in our backyard. Y’all should do it more often!
